Foley & Lardner LLP advised Brazil’s Z1 in its $10 million Series A from Kaszek, Maya Capital, Homebrew, Clocktower and Mantis. Partner Andre Thiollier represented Z1.
Z1 is a Brazilian fintech startup that offers digital bank accounts for teens and young adults, the so-called Generation Z, as its primary customer. The accounts are linked to prepaid credit cards under the Mastercard flagship brand.
