CRM&Bonus, a Brazilian platform that manages “gift back” programs from retailers, raised 80 million from Bond Capital in a Series-B round that valued the company at BRL 2.2 Billion or $400 Million dollars, which doubles its Series-A valuation.
Bond Capital was created by partners from Kleiner Perkins, a firm known for its early-stage bets on companies such as Amazon, HP and Compaq. Founded by Mary Meeker, who made her career as chief technology analyst at Morgan Stanley during the 90’s, Bond Capital is making its first bet in Latin America.
Valor Capital also joined the round, under the command of partner Paulo Passoni – an executive who had led the CRMBonus investment while still at Softbank and remained on the company’s board in the meantime.
CRM&Bonus was founded in 2018 by Alexandre Zolko to provide digitalization discount programs on future purchases offered by stores to their customers. In 2022 the company was valued at $1 billion BRL in a round led by Softbank Internationl Group and Riverwood Capital with the participation from local funds Volpe Capital and Igah Ventures.
