Modern-Data-Stack Indicium Lands Series-A Investment of $40 Million from Columbia Capital

The Company, which clients include Pepsico, Bayer, Burger King and Volvo announced the opening of an office in New York City
Modern-Data-Stack Indicium Lands Series-A round which could go up to $40 Million and arrives in New York to expand its operations. The investment was made by Columbia Capital.
The Brazilian Santa Catarina-based startup’s investment and the opening of the office abroad comes less than two months after the company announced its arrival in São Paulo with the inauguration of a space in São Paulo’s financial center Faria Lima.
Where will Funds be Deployed as Indicium Lands its Series-A Funding

As Modern-Data-Stack Indicium Lands Series-A, co-founder Isabela Blasi told the press that the resources will be deployed to expand the operation in the U.S. and consolidate the startup as the main Modern Data Stack company in Latin America. The funding will also be used for the development of new solutions and construction of U.S-based local teams, led by the new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), Chris Resch.
Indicium began operating with equity in 2017, reached breakeven after the first year of operation, and has been achieving an average growth of 100% to 150% per year. In addition to Isabela, the company counts on CEO Matheus Dellagnelo, Daniel Avancini (Data Director), and CTO Vitor Avancin.

Foley & Lardner LLP acted as international and U.S. legal counsel to Indicium in advising the company to land its Series-A funding from Columbia Capital.
