SafeSpace Tops Seed Investment Backed by ABSeed Ventures and DGV Investimentos
SafeSpace’s initiative is music to the ears
Digital misconduct in the workplace whistleblower platform Safespace tops seed investment in women-led Startup in Brazil and raises BRL $11 million in seed round
After seeing its recurring annual revenue grow thirtyfold plus in the last year, SafeSpace closed its second round and seed investment of BRL $11 million. SafeSpace tops seed investment and becomes the largest investment round obtained by a startup led by women in Brazil.
Founded in March 2020, the digital platform aims at making the workplace safer and more inclusive. SafeSpace digital platform facilitates the reporting of cases of harassment and discrimination in professional environments.
Behind the idea are four young talented entrepreneurs with a mindset to make the workplace safer and more inclusive. Le Quartet‘s initiative is music to the ears for anyone looking thoughtfully into this issue. In times when companies are seriously looking into stopping abusive behavior in the workplace, the platform is a needed tool for HR and the top management.

These young entrepreneurs have called the attention of MAYA Capital of Lara Lehmann and Monica Saggioro Leal, and 11 other angel investors, including Ariel Lambrecht, founder of 99; Ann Williams, COO at Creditas; Mariana Dias, CEO at Gupy, and Luciana Caletti, founder of the former Love Mondays, in a pre-seed round of investments in 2020.
Now it is ABSeed Ventures and DGF Investimentos, together with original angel investors, which have vetted and backed the Quartet‘s idea and business model to make the largest investment in a women-led startup in Brazil.
