The acquisition of Fintech Fluxonaut by Gorila will allow the Company to also focus on B2C and B2B Markets

Gorila, the first investment consolidation and control platform in Brazil, acquires Fintech Fluxonaut, a news terminal with real-time quotes, information about the financial market, and other features for the financial market.

The transaction amount has not been disclosed.

Founded in 2015, Fluxonaut has developed a proprietary technology, scalable and cost-efficient systems to index and transmit in real time news, messages, notifications and quotes of financial assets. Fluxonaut serves companies focused on the end consumer (B2C) and businesses with an emphasis to the B2B market. Its main clients are investment offices and managers.

On the other hand, Gorila, founded in 2016, has an application by which the user can enter their investments or create an integration with the Brazilian stock exchange B3 to check profitability and quotations of applications. In addition to serving clients directly, Gorilla also offers several of its services to brokers themselves and investment advisors.

Gorila acquires Fintech Fluxonaut just 1 month passed its Series B round

Gorila raised BRL $100 million in December 2021, in a round led by Iporanga Ventures, Ribbit, Apis Partners, Monashees and 2TM funds. The plans of the company is to invest in product developemnt, team expansion and growth. The acquisition of Fluxonaut serves well the company’s plan, as it allows Gorila to bring new talents from Fluxonaut. Frederico Padilha, founder of Fluxonaut, will become Gorila’s product director.

As Gorila acquires Fintech Fluxonaut, it is yet another deal which proves that the VC model of inflows of capital into Latin America has created substantial cash in the hands of startups in the region to feed the ecosystem with value added acquisitions and mergers to boost innovation and growth.
